South Littleton, Nr Evesham, Worcestershire

This five acre site, situated in a sought after rural village, was acquired in October 2012. Planning permission was granted by Wychavon district council in January 2013 for the development of 30 houses (40 per cent social housing). The site has now been sold on to a local house builder.

Clay Cross North East Derbyshire

The land at Clay Cross was acquired on an unconditional basis in March 2006. The 220 acre brownfield site sits adjacent to the town of Clay Cross, which is situated midway between Chesterfield and Derby. The site was identified in the local masterplan for a combination of residential, industrial and mixed use development to help meet the housing and employment needs of the area.

In 2009 planning permission was granted for 1000 houses and 300,000 sq ft of commercial space. Throughout 2009, 2010 and 2011, 98,000 tonnes of coal was extracted as part of the remediation strategy.
