£50,000 raised for charities – BHF & Ataxia UK

British-Heart-Article_smallIn a touching tribute to his late father, Jon Hickton, and 6 friends completed the challenge of cycling the length of the country – 940 miles from John O’Groats to Lands End –  in just eight days raising a staggering £50,000 for charity.

Jon said, ‘My motivation was not the usual keep fit fad but rather a plan to organise a sponsored ride as a tribute to my father. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support shown by friends, family and work colleagues and the huge amount of money we’ve raised for two charities my father had supported for a long time’.

As they travelled down the country the boys kept friends and family entertained with tales of their incredible journey which can be read here – www.e2ethewrongway.co.uk
