North Oak Homes secures planning for nine luxury homes in idyllic setting

Worcester-based residential developer North Oak Homes has won planning permission for nine large luxury homes in an idyllic part of Herefordshire. North Oak Homes, the residential arm of the privately-owned property and development group Maximus, will bring the site to the market in October. The four acre plot is in Lovers Walk, Gorsley, near Ross-on-Wye, is within half a mile of Junction 3 of the M50. Harry Breakwell, of agents Bruton Knowles in Gloucester, said: “This is a low density site that will appeal to small developers looking for a prestigious project with which to create a signature development. “It lies three a half miles from Newent, 14 from Gloucester and has good links via the nearby M50 to the national motorway network.” To the rear of the site is Linton Hall, a handsome period country home built in 1988 and the homes will also be close to Gorsley Common and half a mile from Ross-on-Wye Golf Club. Gorsley is located in Herefordshire and the village has useful facilities including shop and post office, primary school, pub and village hall.
